Rubmar acquired the skills needed for in-depth research and analytical thinking at university, where she studied literature and linguistics. Her studies gave her a keen perspective on several subjects and allowed her to turn every stone in her investigations.
In 2019, she first got into the crypto industry when a friend introduced her to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, but it wasn’t until 2020 that she started diving into the depths of the industry. As Rubmar began to understand the mechanics of the cryptosphere, she discovered a new world yet to be explored.
At the beginning of her journey into the world of cryptocurrencies, she discovered a new system that allowed her to control her finances. As a young adult in the 21st century, Rubmar had to face the challenges of the traditional banking system and the restrictions of fiat currency.
After the failure of her home country’s economy, the limitations of traditional finance became apparent. The bureaucratic and outdated structure made her feel hopeless and helpless in the midst of an aggressive and distorted system created by hyperinflation. However, learning about decentralization and self-monitoring opened up a field of opportunities for her. Cryptocurrencies allowed her to experience financial control for the first time and expand her financial education.
Additionally, the unique nature of the crypto community sparked Rubmar’s curiosity about other layers of the industry. As a result, she found particular interest in learning about the diverse perspectives of investors, market observers, experts and developers. His attempts to better understand the crypto space made him aware of the community’s close ties to other industries, enriching his perspective of the sector. As someone who spends most of his day online, Rubmar enjoys finding the spots where the crypto world meets his other passions and hobbies – or his favorite memes.
In her free time, she usually finds joy in different art forms. As a child, she enrolled in all the extracurricular activities in her hometown, including music classes, dance, jewelry making, and local choir. Despite her many attempts to learn different instruments, Rubmar can only play the xylophone, which she played for 7 years in her school band.
She also has a passion for learning new languages and cultures, having set a goal of learning six more languages – she is currently trying to learn Italian and Korean. Scrapbooking, DIY and bookbinding are her biggest interests outside of work, she is constantly taking classes and attending workshops to learn new techniques. The rest of her free time she spends stressing about football matches and transfer market news or feeding cats – her own or stray cats.
